Polly in Tangerine

30" x 40" oil on canvas

This painting is in honor of my great aunt Polly, who was great in more ways than one.  It is a portrait of a chair that was down in her basement because it needed repairs, kind of passed over because it was fragile.  But it has grace and beauty, much like its owner did.

Hi Jennifer,
I'm helping to chair the "A Mother Here Art and Poetry Contest" which is looking for 2-dimensional visual arts pieces depicting Heavenly Mother or the divine feminine. I saw your website and was struck by your beautiful work.

The contest offers six awards, totaling over $1000 for prize winners. The deadline for submissions is March 4, 2014.

Please visit the contest website www.amotherhere.com for more information about the contest. We hope you will submit some pieces.

Regards,
