People's Choice Award

I was so happy to learn that my painting "Evelyn" won a People's Choice Award at the Fulfill the Vision show, which was held at the Washington DC Temple Visitor's Center!
The show came down today. It really was an amazing exhibit of works.

Rain barrel project

Fairfax County is trying to promote rain barrel use. So they asked artists all over the county to submit a drawing (see above) and they would choose some of them to paint these barrels, which will be placed all over the county at highly visible locations. They will post signs with them explaining about the program and will say something about the artists. It's good because it's nice advertising for me and I do support the use of rain barrels (as a back yard conservationist).
